I began working in film in the 90s as a production assistant on films like Exit Wounds starring Steven Seagal. Born and raised in Calgary, I went to the U of C for a degree in Urban Studies. Similar to many Calgarians the oil patch called my name, I worked up the ranks and with skill and luck was able to work both internationally and in Alberta in a management role. After the recent oil recession I transitioned back to working in the film industry as a locations production assistant on Fargo Season 3. Since then I have upgraded to working as a Location Manager on productions such as Black Summer, and Let Him Go. "I love the logistics and all the moving parts that go into production". I have come full circle with now sourcing production locations that I previously helped extract oil from on the very same land.
