Jason Lapeyre is a writer/director working in both film and television. His first documentary feature, FACELESS, explores the workings of an inpatient psychiatry unit in downtown Toronto, and debuted at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. His first dramatic feature, the gritty crime thriller COLD BLOODED, won Best Canadian Film at Fantasia. His second feature, I DECLARE WAR, played TIFF, won the Audience Award at Fantastic Fest, and was released theatrically by Drafthouse Films. Most recently he directed the contemporary samurai drama WARIGAMI for The CW & CBC. He has also directed MOWs for Lifetime Original Movies, including WHO KILLED JONBENÉT? He has feature projects in development with producer Martin Katz (MAPS TO THE STARS, COSMOPOLIS) and television projects in development with Michael Sugar (SPOTLIGHT, 13 REASONS WHY). He is represented in the US by APA and in Canada by Vanguarde Artists.
