Dispensation Application Package
Members must apply to DGC Alberta for dispensation to work without a Guild contract in any Guild category on any production, and may not commence work without prior written approval from DGC Alberta. Only individuals can receive dispensation; when a production is deemed to be eligible for dispensation, the onus is still on the individual Member to obtain appropriate written permission to work on it. Dispensation will not be granted retroactively; forms must be submitted to DGC Alberta prior to commencement of work.
The Production must reach out the ADC Office and inform them of the Dispensation request. The Production must be granted Dispensation approval, before Members are granted Dispensation approval. Production are to fill out the DGC Production Dispensation Information Form below and submit to: dgc@dgcalberta.ca

*The “H&W Participation Agreement” is not mandatory and should be completed only when a Producer has agreed to make H&W contributions on a Member’s behalf despite the production not being signed to a DGC Agreement.
