The Diversity and Inclusion Committee is excited to announce a monthly initiative EDI IN FOCUS which will be published on the DGC BC Blog and shared in the Ebulletin starting in the New Year. This initiative aims to give those who are passionate about Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), a space to share stories and resources with other Members.

If the evolution of EDI in our community is important to you, and you'd like to help us raise awareness of these important issues, this is an opportunity for you to amplify your voice. We're looking for Members to share personal stories along with links or excerpts from relevant articles, videos, books, or other media that you have been inspired by. We hope our Members can take some time over the upcoming Hiatus break to help build our library of stories. We understand that some people may not wish to be identified, and that's okay! We can accommodate your level of comfort by publishing your story anonymously.

To be considered for the EDI IN FOCUS initiative, please submit the following to communications@dgcbc.com:

• Media source (link to the article, video, book or other media source you want to share)
• A short blurb, written from your perspective about your personal connection/story (please keep to under 500 words)
• Please let us know if you would like your story to be published anonymously or to include your name.
