The Directors Guild of Canada, British Columbia's scholarship program was established to assist Members and their dependents in pursuing post-secondary education.

Five scholarships ($2,000 each) will be awarded to individuals enrolled full-time in the pursuit of a degree at any accredited Canadian or international post-secondary institution. Scholarship recipients are limited to receiving a maximum of two non-consecutive scholarship awards from the DGC BC, per lifetime.

The Committee will consider prior academic achievement, financial need, purpose for seeking post-secondary education, educational awards/achievements, extracurricular activities, and professionalism when reviewing applications.

Unless otherwise stated, applications will open in the first week of May and close in the first week of July, after which time the Scholarship Committee will evaluate and award the scholarships.
