The DGC Manitoba Source List is a tool for Manitoba residents looking to get their start in the film industry. It also helps productions seeking labour for days where extra bodies may be required.

The requirements to join the DGC Manitoba Source List:

1. Completion of three courses: 

• Set Orientation
• Safety Awareness
• WHMIS

2. Submission of your resume

3. Proof of residency in the Province of Manitoba.

4. Completion of the one-page application form.

To join the SOURCE List, you must be either a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident. Individuals residing in Manitoba on a work visa who are in the process of obtaining Permanent Residency status may apply in writing for a waiver from the District Council. The request shall be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Joining the source list DOES NOT GUARANTEE your employment in the film & television industry. The source list is only sent to productions upon request. Individuals on the source list are responsible for securing their own work and are encouraged to contact all DGC productions to let them know they are willing and available for work.

**PLEASE NOTE**

The MDC Source List is for individuals with 0 to 15 days worked in Guild classifications on DGC Signatory Productions. Individuals with more than 15 days will not be admitted and will be encouraged to join the MDC-MAP Program.
