The Canada Media Fund (CMF) has released a report called “National Fictions on the Small Screen." The report looks at how locally produced dramatic television performs in small markets both locally and abroad.

The aim of the study was to establish whether high quality dramatic television in languages other than English can succeed and be profitable internationally.

The study was commissioned by the CMF in collaboration with the Association québécoise de la production médiatique (AQPM) and the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles du Québec (SODEC).

DGC Members are encouraged to read this important study on diverse Canadian content.
