Several DGC Members are part of the programme for the 2017 TIFF Canada’s Top Ten Film Festival which highlights achievements in Canadian film from this past year.

The festival runs from January 13 to 26, 2017 at the TIFF Bell Lightbox and will also bring select films to cities across the country. DGC will co-present Canada’s Top Ten Film Festival panel The State of Diversity in the Canadian Screen Industry as well as sponsor the student prizes for Best Film (Live Action) and Best Film (Animation).

DGC films that were included in the lineup include: Mean Dreams (directed by Nathan Morlando) It’s Only the End of the World (directed by Xavier Dolan). DGC Member Sudz Sutherland will be part of the Canada’s Top Ten Film Festival 2016 features panel. Director X will be part of the In Conversation With...panel discussion with Cameron Bailey.
