DIRECTORS GUILD OF CANADA CELEBRATES ITS MEMBERS’ NOMINATIONS AT THE 2017 CANADIAN SCREEN AWARDS
The Directors Guild of Canada is delighted to join the industry in celebrating this year’s Canadian Screen Awards nominees.

The feature film Avant les rues, which received the DGC Discovery Award at the 2016 DGC Awards, is nominated in several CSA categories.

DGC National president Tim Southam stated, “Audiences are more than ever seeking out stories that are original, distinctive and authentic. Focusing on our distinctive voice is the best strategy to connect with viewers. This year’s Canadian Screen Awards nominations reflect that.”
