NEW STUDY SHOWS THE BENEFITS OF NOVA SCOTIA'S FILM & TV INDUSTRY
A new economic impact study of the Nova Scotia film & television industry was recently completed by Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC). The study shows that in 2014 the $23.5 Million spent in labour based tax credit helped the screen industry generate $180 Million in Gross Domestic Product, (GDP), for the province of Nova Scotia. This return on investment means that for every dollar the government invests, $7 dollars comes back to the Nova Scotia economy.
