TELEVISION NOMINEES ANNOUNCED FOR 21st ANNUAL DGC AWARDS

It is our pleasure to announce the nominations for the 2022 DGC Awards for Television Series, Movies for Television and Mini-Series. Winners in these categories will be announced at the West Coast DGC Awards in Vancouver on November 5th, 2022.

We were pleased to receive over 300 Television submissions this year, a record number of submissions.

This announcement will be followed by the nominations for Feature Film, Documentary and Short Film announced after the DGC Awards nomination juries meet on September 10th as well as the long-list for the DGC’s Jean-Marc Vallée Discovery Award highlighting emerging directors on their first or second feature to be announced during the Toronto International Film Festival.

“It’s always inspiring and moving to see the work of Canadian filmmakers, designers and, sound and picture editors,” said DGC President Warren Sonoda. “We look forward to celebrating the works of these outstanding creatives and storytellers this year and for years to come.”
