The Directors Guild of Canada would like to give a big congrats to all the DGC Members with feature films and shorts at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.

The impressive line-up of Canadian titles was announced at a press conference yesterday, and included work from Members across the country.

Members with films at TIFF include Brigitte Berman, Xavier Dolan, Tony Elliott,  Bronwen Hughes, Bruce McDonald , Deepa Mehta,  Nathan Morlando, April Mullen, Kim Nguyen, and Justin Simms.

Several DGC Members are also involved in the various Industry programmes at TIFF this year. Andrew Cividino was selected as the 2016 Len Blum Resident. Atom Egoyan is one of the Governors of this year’s Talent Lab, and Mina Shum will sit on the jury for the Canadian awards at TIFF.
