The DGC is honoured to unveil the initial round of nominees for the first in-person DGC Awards Gala held in Toronto since 2019. The television nominees cover categories for Television Series, Movies for Television and Mini-Series. Winners will be presented at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto on Saturday, October 21st.

 

This announcement will be followed by the nominations for Feature Film, Documentary and Short Film as well as the short-list for the DGC’s Jean-Marc Vallée Discovery Award which will be released after the DGC Awards juries meet on September 9th.

 

“These nominations are a reminder that Canadian filmmakers continue to elevate their craft year after year,” said DGC President Warren Sonoda. “We can’t wait to celebrate the creativity and talent of our members at this year’s ceremony.”
