Two DGC directors, Tracey Deer and April Mullen, will be among the 12 women honoured at this year's Birks Diamond Tribute. The event recognizes emerging and experienced female filmmakers in Canada who've helped contribute to the growth of the industry. It will take place on September 12, during the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.

DGC Members were on selection committee this year, along with members of ACTRA, WGC, ARRQ and SARTEC. The DGC congratulates the two talented Members who were selected.
