Pauline Decroix

Pauline Decroix is a CSA, and CCE award-winning bilingual picture editor (Fr & En). Originally from France, her editing career began in Paris in 2000, she has been working in Canada since 2009. In France, Pauline worked on a range of projects including documentaries (such as the acclaimed doc series Thalassa), major game shows (The Weakest Link, Don’t Forget the Lyrics), TV mini-series (Hard, Bachelorette Party), and a feature film (Foon). Hard, produced by Canal+, became a critically-acclaimed hit series and was picked up by HBO.
In 2016 Pauline shifted focus to narrative storytelling and was fortunate enough to be a resident at the prestigious Canadian Film Centre, Cineplex Entertainment Film Program's Editor's Lab. In 2017, she was nominated for "Best Editing" at the 32nd annual Gemeaux Awards for her work on the doc series Balade à Toronto. In 2018, she worked on her first feature documentary film, Unmothered (Sans Maman), produced by the National Film Board. In 2019, she’s happy to join the DGC, and has started to work on TV Series. She also had the chance to work on a documentary for TSN, On The Line. Her work on this project was highlighted and extremely honoured to be the recipient of a Canadien Screen Award for best Editing. To add on this honour, the directors, Juliet Lammers and Lorraine Price, received a Canadian Screen Awards for Best Direction.
