Rob Stefanik Bio
At the age of 23, Rob wrote his first screenplay, The Size of Watermelons, which was produced as an independent feature starring Paul Rudd. He made his directorial debut with the short film, Waiting for the Man, (Official Selection Sundance 2005). For his feature debut, Rob wrote, directed, and starred in Phil the Alien, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2004 where it received the Spirit of Film Honor Award. Rob was named winner of the Don Haig Encouragement Fund for promising new filmmaker. In 2008, Rob directed an episode What it\u2019s Like Being Alone for the CBC. His next movie Suck also debuted at TIFF. Suck toured the festival circuit and was recognized with many awards.
Stefaniuk worked as a story editor on the first season of CTV\u2019s Spun Out and directed the episode \u201cSexual Ceiling\u201d for their second season. Rob directed and edited 10 Webisodes of Anxietyville and recently directed an episode of the YTV sitcom, The Stanley Dynamic. In 2016 Rob Directed and was editor for 10 Webisodes for CBC\u2019s \u201cMy 90 Year Old Roommate\u201d and directed 13 Webisode\u2019s of \u201cEpic Studios\u201d staring Epic Rap Battles of History\u2019s Epic Lloyd.
