The 2023 DGC Ontario Annual General Meeting has concluded, and we are pleased to welcome the following election winners to the DGC Ontario Executive Board:

Anna Beben has been elected as First Vice-Chair

Lianne Seal has been re-elected as Secretary-Treasurer

Lisa Rose Snow has been re-elected as Director Caucus Rep

Moe Rai has been re-elected as Production Caucus Rep

Kevin Banks has been re-elected as Sound Editing Caucus Rep

James Porteous has been elected as Post Production Caucus Rep

Kathleen Jenkins has been elected as Accounting Caucus Rep

There were close to 250 Members present, both in person and virtually, with another 255 Members represented by proxy.

On behalf of the Executive Board and the Membership, DGC Ontario would like to thank outgoing First Vice-Chair Nazgol Goshtasbpour and Accounting Caucus Representative Vess Stoeva for their time and service on the Executive Board. We would also like to acknowledge the hard work and contribution of the late Richard J. Anobile, who passed away in early February during his term as Post Production Caucus Rep. His dedication to his craft and to the organization was much appreciated.

We would also like to thank Nominating Committee Chair Marr Morgan for her dedicated work putting together the 2023 Nominations Slate.

We also wish to sincerely apologize for the technical issues we encountered in the room and over Zoom, and thank you for your patience as we navigated our first hybrid (online and in-person) AGM.
