DGC Ontario staff and executives attended the 2016 WIFT Crystal Awards yesterday which honoured the outstanding achievements of women in the film and television community.

DGC Ontario Associate Executive Director Victoria Harding presented the DGC Ontario Director Mentorship to Nadine Valcin. Nadine was selected for the mentorship out of a large pool of applicants. The popular program provides one emerging Canadian female director a two-phase training opportunity with a DGC Ontario Director Member. The first phase focuses on business training leading up to TIFF, and the second phase is a creative mentorship that takes place after TIFF.

DGC Ontario Member Deborah Osborne, Production Planning Executive, received the Mentorship Award from WIFT. This award was presented by Diane Cuthbert, VP Sales Postproduction, Deluxe Toronto and was presented in Partnership with Deluxe Toronto.

DGC Ontario is a proud supporter of the programs and mentorship offered through WIFT and congratulates all the awards recipients.
