BORN TO BE BLUE PREMIERE'S AT TIFF BELL LIGHTBOX
The Directors Guild of Canada, eOne and TIFF were delighted to host the Premiere of the new film by DGC Director Robert Budreau: "Born to Be Blue". The film stars Ethan Hawke, Carmen Ejogo and Callum Keith Rennie and was shot in Sudbury Ontario in 2014 and premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival to overwhelmingly positive reviews.
Variety called it “one of the best performances of [Ethan Hawke’s] career.” The film’s success is a reflection of the talented DGC Members who worked together to make it happen.
On Friday March 11th, the film premiered to a full house at the TIFF Bell Lightbox followed by a Q&A session with Director Robert Budreau and Producer Leonard Farliger.
Special thanks to DGC Director Annie Bradley for being a gracious and insightful moderator.
