List Of Credits Recognized (with supporting evidence):
- Credits earned in the applicable category as a non-member under a DGC contract on a dramatic production
- Credits earned in the applicable category with another union on a dramatic production
- Credits earned in the applicable category on a short film
- Credits earned in the applicable category on a foreign dramatic production
- Credits earned in the applicable category on a commercial or music video (maximum 20 days combined)
- Credits accumulated in an applicable category that is not recognized under the Status of the Artist Act (e.g., Accounting and Production Management)
- One (1) credit earned as an Assistant Director Television (ADTV) is equivalent to 0.5 credit as a Second Assistant Director, up to a maximum of 50 credits
- One (1) credit earned on unscripted productions (TV magazines, game shows, variety shows) is equivalent to one (1) credit for each day worked in the targeted function within the Art Department
- One (1) credit earned as a Coordinator in the following departments is equivalent to one (1) credit as an Assistant Art Department Coordinator, up to a maximum of 50 credits:
- Production Coordinator
- Vehicle Coordinator
- Costume Coordinator
- Lighting Department Coordinator
Credits Not Recognized:
- Credits earned on non-union projects with or without dispensation
- Credits accumulated on a unionized production but worked in a category other than that being applied for
- Credits accumulated on a unionized production but without a union contract in the category in question
- Credits accumulated more than 15 years prior to application for membership
Documents Accepted To Verify The Number Of Days Worked:
- DGC Work History Report
- Work History Report from another union
- A letter from a production stating the name of the project, the category under which you worked and the number of days worked
- Invoice and/or pay stub or another form of proof that you were paid
- Copy of a work contract/deal memo
- For Assistant Directors only: your name on a production’s call sheet
