The Guild now represents Assistant Directors, Art Department Coordinators, Assistant Art Department Coordinators and Assistant Art Directors in all sectors

DECISION

On February 29, 2016 the Tribunal administratif du travail, TAT (formerly the Commission des relations du travail – CRT) rendered its decision regarding the requests for representation filed by the Guild in 2014.

Following the many hearings and the vote held in the fall of 2015 the TAT has delivered its decision (click here to access the complete decision – French only) by granting to the Guild representation of the additional positions listed below.

NEW REPRESENTATION

Sector 1 (Quebec, Canadian and foreign productions, and co-productions (other than American) – the following positions are added to the Guild’s representation:

• Assistant Directors (1st, 2nd & 3rd)
  
• Assistant Art Directors
  
• Art Department Coordinators and Assistant Art Dept. Coordinators
  
• Draftsmen
  

Sector 3 (independent American productions of low budget) – the following positions are added to the Guild’s representation:

• Art Department Coordinators and Assistant Art Dept. Coordinators
  
• Location Managers
  
• Assistant Location Managers
  
• Location Scouts
  

Sector 4 (independent American productions of high budget – the following positions are added to the Guild’s representation:

• Location Managers
  
• Assistant Location Managers
  
• Location Scouts
