It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Robert "Robbie" Ditchburn (1956-2022), a member of the DGC as Director and 1st Assistant Director.

Mr. Ditchburn was very involved on the Quebec Council's Executive Board during the 1990s. A member of the Guild for over 40 years, he served on the Board from 1991 to 1993 as 2nd Vice-Chair, then from 1993 to 1994 as Chair, and then as Vice-Chair until 1995.

Thank you Mr. Ditchburn for your years of loyal service to the Guild, and for your contribution to Canadian cinema.
