The Guild on the Hill
Last Wednesday, the Motion Picture Association-Canada invited the DGC to participate in their “Behind the Scenes” lobby day on Parliament Hill.
A delegation from the Guild travelled to Ottawa, bringing props designed by the DGC Art Department on Star Trek Discovery – and 360 degree VR images of the show’s sets – to show lawmakers in the reception hall at the Sir John A. Macdonald building.
We’d like to thank all the DGC members from Star Trek Discovery who let us show off their work to Members of Parliament, including the show’s DGC Production Designer Tamara Deverell and, especially, Art Director Matt Middleton who led the presentation in Ottawa.
