Wanted: Locations Department Instructor
Do you know the Locations department like the back of your hand? You have work experience in the department? You are organized, a good communicator and interested in teaching? This proposal is for you.
Members of the DGC's Locations department recently voted to implement mandatory training for each job category in the department. We are therefore looking for three trainers to offer these new mandatory trainings:
- Location Scout Training
- Assistant Location Manager Training
- Location Manager Training
Job description :
For this contract, you will have the mission to develop one of the above-mentioned training courses in accordance with the Guild's Training Committee mandate for Locations.
This course will first be offered online at the beginning of 2021 and then once or twice a year in person.
Requirement :
The applicant will be required to :
- Have good work experience in the Locations department.
- Be a good communicator and educator.
- Experience on both Quebec and American productions is an asset.
Conditions :
- The training schedule will be established according to the trainers' availability and the needs of the Guild. However, the trainer must commit to weekend availability between January 4, 2021 and May 30, 2021 in order to offer the training.
- The course will be given in French, but participants may ask questions in English.
- If a face-to-face meeting is necessary, the Guild agrees to establish a protocol in order to respect the sanitary measures in effect.
- Paid contract.
- A bank of hours will be offered to you, prior to the start of the contract, for the development and delivery of the training.
